Ithaca Skate Park
Skate parks have a bit of a reputation for being chock-full of intimidating folks, but the Ithaca Skate Park is exceptionally family-centric. Generally, the park is fairly quiet, but you can go during off peak times and have the place pretty much to yourself. Furthermore, more often than not, the other folks are parents with a kid riding a scooter.
In addition to a variety of ramps and surfaces for skating, the skate-zone is encircled by a large open grassy area, a basketball court, a wall ball court, and a playground. The playground is geared towards smaller children. Unfortunately, the basketball court does not have a full surround of fencing on the Route 13 side so if you have terrible aim you might lose a ball.
Important Info:
There is no bathroom on the property.
